Kaitlin Miller is an Associate Attorney in the office of Jeffrey M. Grieff PS. She will be focusing her practice on estate planning and probate, as well as entity formation and governance issues. Prior to joining Jeffrey M. Grieff PS as an Associate Attorney, Kaitlin worked for the firm as a paralegal and law clerk. Kaitlin previously interned in the legal department of RLH Corporation, working on franchise contract administration, regulatory compliance and tracking of the franchise pipeline, and served as a Student Intern in the University of Washington Tribal Public Defense Clinic where she assisted attorneys in advocating for parents and children through the Muckleshoot Tribal Court system. Kaitlin received her Juris Doctor from University of Washington School of Law, where she was a Staff Editor for the Washington Journal of Law, Technology, and Arts. Kaitlin is also a graduate of Central Washington University where she received her Bachelor of Arts in Law and Justice, was awarded Dean’s Scholar honors, and was named Westside Outstanding Graduating Student of the Year.

Jeffrey M. Grieff, formerly of Stafford Frey Cooper, P.C., is Of Counsel to the law firm of Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP. Jeff joined Miller Nash Graham & Dunn LLP in November 2012. Jeff’s practice is focused on representing individuals, professionals, closely held companies in business matters and estate planning including preparing wills and trusts, gift planning and probate. Jeff advises clients on entity formation of corporation (“S” & “C” types), professional service corporations, limited liability companies, professional limited liability companies, general partnerships, limited liability partnerships, nonprofit corporations, and exempt organizations. He also works closely with clients on operating issues and “tax-wise” strategy planning. Jeff has extensive experience and expertise representing medical and legal professionals, and frequently counsels clients on specific issues that occur in professional organizations. Jeff works with the Washington State Bar Association’s Law Office Management Assistance Program (LOMAP), counseling lawyers and law firms on selecting and forming the proper entity, as well as explaining the tax ramification of entity choices. Jeff also engages estate planning and probate services. He has experience in all areas of estate planning, including planning for both large and small estates, handling probate and trust matters, postmortem tax planning, preparation of federal estate and gift tax returns and drafting wills, trusts, and associated documents. Jeff assists both average and high net-worth clients to achieve their financial estate planning goals through the use of individual wealth preservation and wealth-transfer arrangements. Jeff’s experiences in probate matters include probate litigation and Trust and Estate Dispute Resolution Act (“TEDRA”) matters. Jeff works with the estate litigation attorneys at Miller Nash LLP to successfully achieve his client’s goals as quickly as possible. He is a member of the Washington State Bar Association Business Law and Real Property Probate and Trust Section and the American Bar Association Business Law and the Real Property Trust and Estate Law Sections. He has been a presenter and panelist in numerous professional programs for attorneys and CPAs in entity formation, governance and estate, gift and trust planning and probate.

Michelle Sturm has worked as a paralegal since 1994 and joined Jeffrey M. Grieff PS as a paralegal in 2003. Although Michelle has worked in various practice groups throughout her career, her current work focuses primarily on estate planning and probate, entity formation and governance, and other general matters. Michelle graduated from Western Washington University with a Bachelor of Arts in Spanish with a minor in Communications. She further received her Paralegal Certification from Edmonds Community College.
